What is a life coach?

I get asked this question all the time!

The association for Coaching defines it as a collaborative solution-focused, results orientated and systematic process in which the coach facilitates the enhancement of work performance, life experience, self-directed learning and personal growth of the coachee.

As a certified life coach, I am equipped with the knowledge and tools to help you make positive changes in your life. Whether you're feeling stuck in your current situation, looking to improve your relationships, or seeking more fulfillment in your career, I am here to help.

how does life coaching work?

Life Coaching isn't about me giving you all the answers or telling you how to live your life. What may work for one person may not work for another. It's about working with you as an individual to find out what works for you.


I ask a lot of powerful questions, why? Because when I ask the questions, it opens up your subconscious. On a surface level (conscious level) you most likely don't know the answers, hence why you're stuck! But when I ask you the right questions, at the right time, it gives it to your subconscious to figure it out. Then what usually happens is you come out with an answer you never knew was there, or if it doesn't happen straight away, your subconscious is still working away at it and will give it to you when it's figured it out! How amazing is that!?

This is where I'm trained to identify your internal perspective (thoughts, feelings and motivation) as well as external perspective (communication and behaviour).

My job then, is to work WITH you in a supportive and accountability role as you take the steps in the action plans we set together, to lead a more positive and fulfilling life!

Life coaching is for anyone, at any age, who wants to improve their life in some way. Whether you want to achieve a specific goal, improve your relationships, find more meaning and purpose, or simply become more fulfilled and happy, life coaching can help. Life coaching is especially helpful for people who feel stuck, confused, or overwhelmed, and who are looking for guidance and support in making positive changes.
